Are things getting any better for Santa?
Around this time last year, we talked to a toy manufacturer and distributor about how economic uncertainty was affecting his business. The owner of the factory, Kris Kringle, explained that policies coming out of Washington were hurting his ability to plan ahead.
And this year things haven’t gotten any better. Congress has left virtually every major economic decision to the last minute. From funding the government, to coming to an agreement on the debt ceiling, and now extending tax cuts and unemployment insurance, lawmakers have an unfortunate penchant for not taking care of things in a timely manner.
This uncertainty is hurting American small businesses and families across the country. Check it out and let us know your thoughts in the comments!
