Here’s a roundup of this morning’s must-read budget and economic stories:

In a broad overview of the economy, USA Today says employers are reluctant to hire and invest in their businesses because they are waiting to see “what happens with government policy.” Concerns about taxes, health care and regulations specifically are cited.

The New York Times and Politico report on lawmakers looking for a way around defense spending cuts. The Hill says the Administration has included war funding in those cuts.

Bloomberg looks at potential changes to tax laws for multinational corporations. 

The Wall Street Journal says investors are worried about a global economic slowdown. Bloomberg says the U.S. economy will experience slow growth for the third year in a row.
