According to ABC News, the current Secretary of State and a former one argued yesterday that the growing U.S. debt is a foreign policy threat.

The Federal Reserve cut its outlook for economic growth yesterday, saying the economy was slowing significantly. The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times and The Washington Post have the story.

According to The Hill, conference committee negotiations on a highway reauthorization bill have resumed.
