Here’s a roundup of the latest must-read budget and economic stories:

The Wall Street Journal reports debt ratings agencies are watching Congress closely to see how it deals with the debt ceiling and budget.

The House passed a bill yesterday to suspend the debt limit for three months and to withhold lawmakers’ pay until each chamber passed a budget. The Associated Press, The New York Times, Politico, Reuters and Roll Call have the story.

The Hill says the Senate will soon pass the package.

The New York Times notes the deal does not address the debt long-term.

The Associated Press and Politico previews upcoming debates over the budget and whether or not to delay the sequester spending cuts.
