Explain to me why you think that tax cuts for the wealthy are a bipartisan idea? Trickle down economics, including tax cuts and deregulation have resulted in the current world economic crisis.

I think laws need to be changed in order for spending to be cut. I think The government should have incentives for federal programs that actually do not use all their alloted money, instead of penalizing them for not spending enough, making them go out and make ridiculous purchases, like a $50 hammer!! That is only one small way. I think if the Government advertised (they can get it for free), before tax time for all American’s to give just $1.00 towards our National Debt on their tax returns, and then USE it for only that. It would be a small amount, but we HAVE to start somewhere! There ARE so many ways, if our good ol’ Uncle Sam would only listen to us. My resolution is, if government is for and by the people, I am going to be a little more active in trying to change things for the better instead of just bitching about it! How about you??
