According to NBC/Wall Street Journal, 7% of adults have a great deal of confidence in the federal government; 9% have quite a bit; 43% have some; 23% say very little; and 16% have none at all.
According to Rasmussen, 64% of likely voters prefer a government with fewer services and lower taxes over one with more services and higher taxes. Only 25% prefer a government with more services. 11% were unsure.
According to ARG, 43% of adults think the U.S. is in a recession while 33% say it is not.
According to NBC/Wall Street Journal, only 30% of adults are confident our children’s lives will be better than the current generation’s. 63% are not confident.
According to Rasmussen, 53% of likely voters believe tax cuts help the economy; 22% say tax cuts hurt the economy, 13% say they have no impact; and 12% aren’t sure.
