CloseAccording to The Hill, 62% of likely voters believe America is being overtaken by other countries “in important ways.” Only 23% do not believe this statement is true while 16% aren’t sure.
According to Rasmussen, 82% of likely voters believe members of Congress should take a 25% pay cut until the federal budget is balanced. Only 14% do not support such a plan. In addition, 48% think the president should take a 50% pay cut until the federal budget is balanced. 41% disagree with that proposal.
According to the Economist, only 1% of adults trust the federal government to do what is right almost always. Only 6% trust the government to do what is right most of the time; 42% trust it to do what right is some of the time; 42% almost never trust it to do what is right. 9% aren’t sure.
