Easy-to-Use Map Provides Snapshot of States’ Economic Health

Arlington, VA—Bankrupting America, a project of Public Notice, today revealed an easy-to-use rollover map of the U.S. that provides a snapshot of each state’s economic health. The map will stay updated with the latest information for each state’s unemployment rate, foreclosure rate, projected budget deficit and economic growth in recent years.

Gretchen Hamel, executive director of Public Notice, said:

We’re constantly bombarded with national economic indicators, but this map will allow for a side-by-side comparison of each state and provide some perspective on how the states are suffering as a result of the economic slowdown. Our new rollover map is a one-stop shop for citizens, policymakers and elected officials around the country who want to find important economic facts and figures for each state all in one place.
