It seems like Europe may have jumped the highest hurdle in its extended debt crisis, as Greece’s agreement with its creditors released much tension and relieved fears of a much more sever bailout. But as Greece and Washington celebrate Greece’s Independence Day, its important to remember its current situation could have been avoided.

The affects of the debt ceiling debate are still being felt now, and will probably continue to be felt for the foreseeable future.
