Today at 10am the Senate Budget Committee will hold its first hearing on the confirmation of Jacob Lew as director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).

The White House announced today that Jacob Lew will replace Peter Orszag as the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).  Lew was appointed by President Obama as Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources and served as OMB director under President Clinton from 1998 and 2001. BA
