Last night with popcorn in hand, we watched Sen. Rand Paul, R-KY, takeover C-SPAN 2 with his filibuster of the executive branch’s use of militarydrones. Today the buzz has continued, and for all the talk and tweets it generated, it seems filibusters are poised to make a Britney Spears-esque comeback.

Yesterday the Senate voted on five budget resolutions, but none received enough votes to even be considered for debate.
