The Highway Bill is on the Move

While most of Washington is talking about healthcare reform, on June 28, Congress quietly began the process of passing a massive catch-all bill that includes highway spending for two years, coastal restoration spending from the oil spill of 2010, a five- year extension of the federal flood insurance program, and a one-year freeze on the interest rate for federally subsidized loans.
