The state of the States

August 13, 2010

This summer, White House officials have been traveling all over the country on a “Recovery Summer” tour.  The general purpose of the tour is to tout the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (aka the “stimulus” bill) as essential in saving and creating “millions” of jobs and encouraging economic growth. However, with a stalled economy and growing unemployment, we decided to take a closer look.  We’ve compiled a fact sheet for each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia and have found a very different story than that being told on the “Recovery Summer” tour.

Click here to view the fact sheets and see how your state’s economy has performed since the “stimulus” was enacted.

So latest and greatest…The state of colorado wants $52.00 bucks for ’09 taxes $175.00 wasn’t enouph? Maybe I should apply for food stamps, unemployment, or section 8 housing so I can pay them? I’m sure I qualify for all the above. But, I would rather be self-suffecient. I’m tired of paying taxes for the government to just give it to some dishonest, system abusing people. I would rather go to jail than pay their $52.00… It’s sad, they probably would spend money to put me in the slammer too… Backwords retrded, ignorant politicians and lawmakers… The system is so far messed up I almost want to sit back and laugh. Oh yeah and medicare is paying for viagra too… They will get $52.00 dollars over my dead body… yippy.

Its time we stop paying congressmen altogether. And no $15k a month for life pension either! Make it so congress is only in session for three months a year. Rest of the year they need to go home and get a real job! And air drop thousands of pink slips to all these worthless leaches called government employees. And make public sector unions illegal.

We should start with all of congress and the house should pay into social security and make it retro from the time they were elected into office and no cost of living raises, (or pension for retirement for that matter.) This is a public office, it wasn’t meant to be a career! And they should abide by the same laws that they made for us!

Lets give some more money to the banks, the obviosly need it. I mean after the business practices of Wells Fargo Bank I said I would never bank or do business with them again. HOWEVER they have bought up my
investment firm Wachovia , and now they have purchased my mortgage company Americas Servicing Company (ASC). I own a business and need bailed out so I can buy up all my competition, foreclose on my customers, and I could use a nice big year end bonus. And if the tax-payers wouldnt mind the sooner the better. WOW
